Langtang Valley Trek is a short and scenic journey towards the central Himalayan range of Nepal located inside Langtang National Park. Langtang region offers numerous numbers of trekking trails whereas Langtang Valley Trekking is one of the popular routes among all. Amazing views of Nepalese and Tibetan Himalayan ranges with beautiful, charming villages, hospitable locals, unique Tibetan culture, tradition and wide diverse landscapes of Langtang Valley Trek can easily attract several trekkers throughout the year. The local folks who live in the highlands of the Langtang region are surely Nepalese but most of them trace their roots to Tibet, they even look like the Tibetans.
Langtang region is one of the most sought-after trekking regions for those short on time and want to do a short trek from Kathmandu into the Himalayas with a special interest in Tibetan lifestyles. The fantastic reasons for a visit to this particular region are the varieties of rhododendron, dense bamboo forests, dancing waterfalls and close up views of the snowcapped Himalayas which all combine to make Trekking the lovely Langtang Valley one of the most dissimilar treks that are so close to ancient Kathmandu.
Langtang Valley Trek Route starts with the drive along the Trisuli River north of Kathmandu, through Trasuli Bazaar, we reach to Dhunche and finally reach at Syabrubensi, a Sherpa village, and farmlands of the people. Many villagers are originally from Tibet. Once this route was an important trading route with Tibet, therefore, most of the villagers and peoples here still are involved in the trade. On the way of trekking, one can have a trek through Langtang National Park as it is located at the very edge of the park. We also have a chance to see some wild animals and birds. Among them are the monkeys, musk deer, Pika and the national bird of Nepal, the colorful Danphe. We continue our Trekking to Kyangjin Gompa (3,740 m), in between, we cross many rivers along a gorge and pass through oak and rhododendron forests and glacial moraine.

Trip Itinerary
There you will be met by our Airport Representative and transferred to hotel by private tourist vehicle. Evening discuss about trek.
Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi by bus via Trisuli Bazar and Dhunche( popular town). You will witness nice scenery of White Mountains of Mt. Annapurna II, Manasalu, Ganesh Himal and other minor peaks are visible from Kakani (along the route) and as well as green scenery of hillock, rivers, village, while driving to Syapru bensi. Syabru bensi is an attractive village with large stone houses.
Today, the first part of the trail crosses through Bhote Koshi and follows the Langtang Khola. This trail is gradually climbs to Bamboo passing through the Landslide area. Afterwards, your trek ascends gently to Rimche (2400meters) through Bamboo (1960meters) which lies at the bank of Langtang Khola. You can have lunch at this place if you like. And at the end your trail is level to the Lama Hotel.
The Trail follows Gumanechok, Ghoda Tabela literally meaning the Horse Stable. After this the trail is slightly gradual and beautiful in the valley with the sights of grazing Yaks. Langtang village is one of the very local and old villages along this trekking route and the view from here is more spectacular as we get closer to mountain.
Climb gradually to pass the villages, yak pastures, streams, and moraines to reach Kyanjin. Here, we will visit the ancient Kyanjin Gompa, which holds high cultural values to the Tamang community of Langtang region. Kyanjin Gompa hosts a stunning view of Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Langtang Ri (7205m), Langtang Lirung (7234m), and so on.
Today, we take a hike to Tserko Ri (4985m), the highest altitude of our trek. Walking on a steep rocky trail, we arrive at the top of Tserko Ri for an astonishing view of the Langtang Himal range including Langtang Lirung (7234m), Tserko Peak (5749m), Yala Peak (5500m), and so on. We hike back to Kyanjin Gompa and visit its famous yak cheese factory, if interested, you can taste it too.
After an amazing stay in Kyanjin, we retrace our way back to Lama Hotel. Following Langtang Khola to reach Langtang village and then to reach Ghodatabela. After gradual descend along the trails, we reach back to Lama Hotel.
Today, leaving the mountains behind you descent to Syabru Bensi where your trek started and is the ending point as well.
After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu from Sybru Bensi which will take some 8-9 hrs by tourist vehicle.
The trip ends, our Airport Representative will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport.
